YOUTH MENTORING Attention all young people, you are invited to attend LTC’s Youth Mentoring Team Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. We will meet from 10 am-until Noon. If you need a ride, please call the church office ahead of time and let us know. We will make arrangements to pick you up. Come and learn how to develop yourself into the great person that God has created you to be. MOVIE NIGHT Come watch the historical drama of the Lena Baker story, the first woman executed in the State of Georgia on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30 pm.
Infant christening, youth and adult baptism will be held Sunday, March 11th during the 11:00 am service. Orientation for adults and children (age 12 and over) will be held Saturday, March 10th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Orientation is mandatory for adults and children over 12 years of age. The grand finale will be a Black Tie Gala at the TS Macklin Center located in Solon, Ohio. Tickets for the Anniversary Celebration Gala on March 30, 2012 are on sale in the Transformations Bookstore or see one of the Committee Members; Bill Audrick, Claudia or Frank Gindraw, Jewell or Lloyd Strother, Harriet Thomas or Joe Warren. There is an early bird discounted special if you purchase your tickets by January 30th--you will save $10.00 and your name will be placed in a special drawing. PRAYER MINISTRY It's so wonderful to know that prayer changes things. Prayer Request slips are available on the Prayer Table in the lobby upstairs. After completing your request drop it in the Prayer Box. To arrange to speak with a LTC minister, you may call the church Tuesday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If spiritual counseling is desired, please mention it when you call. MEDITATION Take advantage of a great opportunity to receive a "spiritual boost" in the middle of the week by joining us each Wednesday for our noontime meditation. The time is from 12:00 to 12:30 pm. Why not bring a friend. For more information on these activities, please see the free literature table upstairs and/or downstairs.
